The people who put a hoodie on a short-sleeve, short-shorts romper are a bit odd if you ask me. But I can't complain, because what looks cuter than a hoodie on a baby? Also, in case you ever want this brand (Organically Grown), their stuff runs really small. This twelve-month size romper was given to me recently, and it barely snaps. It's smaller than the nine-month size rompers and onesies Jax is still wearing.
We're wearing neutrals today. Calm, soothing, neutrals. I love me some color, but today we're going a bit softer. However, Jax is sitting in my lap while I type this, and I can feel him pooping. So I have no idea how long we will really be wearing these outfits.
Which reminds me, many of you have asked what I do if my outfit or his outfit becomes soiled during the day. (Well actually, no one has asked me anything, but I like to pretend I have hundreds of devoted readers with a plethora of Q&A about my life and style). Of course, I change the clothes of whoever got them dirty!
And of course, I find a way to make the second outfit matching. In fact, some days, the second combination is cuter than the first, and if I wasn't too busy and hadn't already moved on with my day, and had to spend time cleaning up someone's poopy mess, I would really want to take a second batch of outfit photos. But then I'd feel guilty because all my imaginary readers would ask silent questions like, "Where does this girl find the time to dress up and take pictures all day long? Maybe she doesn't clean her house. Or maybe her baby naps for the better part of the day." The truth is I usually keep my house mostly clean, and my baby is just now napping for an hour or longer, twice a day, in his crib (hallelujah!).
