I
know it is universally true...but I still find it interesting/odd that
if you put a baby to sleep an hour past their normal bed time, they wake
up more frequently during the night, and are up for the day earlier the
next morning. Put them to bed early, and they sleep through the night
and wake up later. It's backwards.
The night Jax slept the
longest was 7:30 pm (half hour earlier than normal bedtime), and he woke
up at 7:00 am, with not a single night waking. Last night he didn't go
down until 9pm, woke at 1am and 4am, and was up for the day at 6am.
And of course he's grumpy this morning. Hopefully I can get him down soon for a morning nap and he'll get a bit caught up.
This morning was beautifully cool (perhaps 75 or so?), so we went outside and nursed on the front porch. It's something we used to do every morning when Jax was only a few weeks old. Amazing how long ago that feels. I wanted to take a walk, but one of the tires in our stroller was flat, and I couldn't find the bike pump to fill it up. Will have to get the husband to work on that asap!
Have a great Saturday.
P.S. Apparently the diaper sprayer has some kind of pressure adjustment. That will be Benjamin's other project for the day - turn that thing down so maybe it can be useful!
