The flashing light on my camera from the timer, followed by the shutter click, makes Jax giggle.
He plays peek-a-boo with you on his own! He'll come around a corner and if you say "Boo!" he will laugh, retreat, and come around again. He'll pull a blanket over his head and when he takes it off, if you say, "Boo!" he'll laugh, put it back over his head, then pull it down again, and repeat.
If you get down on the floor and crawl around at his level, coming to get him, running away, being silly, he giggles.
If he tries to pull up on something and is successful, achieving a new perspective or reaching something interesting to put in his mouth, he giggles.
If you take wipe his butt after a poopy diaper, I guess it tickles, and he giggles. He even giggles in anticipation when he sees me get a cloth wipe out (I don't wipe after urine, unless it's soaked).
A board book we have of dogs makes him giggle. Every page you turn, and say, "Dog!" and point at the dog, and bark, he giggles. He also has a classic "touch the bunny" book, where you can play peek-a-boo with a cloth that's attached to the little boy's face in the book, so you're playing peek-a-boo with the sketch of his face. That makes Jax giggle too.
He pretty much laughs a significant portion of the day. It is unbelievably delightful to be his Momma.
We wore these outfits to church on Sunday. It was cool in the morning when we left for band practice, and cool inside the building. And hot by the afternoon when we got home and took photos. I decided to show both looks. Jax was initially wearing a yellow and navy plaid button-down shirt with navy slacks, but my mom decided to give him half a pear to chomp on, and that was the end of the outfit. It was okay because I like the second outfit better anyway. Those pants are TOO much. Another piece from my cousin in CA that I love (I love the pants that is. Okay, and my cousin too. She's adorable. And wonderful for sending me clothes!).
