I thought I wouldn't be THAT mom. Dragging her kids to take Texas bluebonnet photos every year.
I still don't think I want to be that mom. Except that Jax was born within a week or two of when the roadsides erupt into spring blue beauty. And his turning a year old coincides with the breath of spring. So I can't help myself.
Thanks to my mom for making Jax laugh, and taking the photos of the two of us together. She took them last year too.
This year, March 28; last year, April 1. His birthday March 10.
