This was the first wrap I bought used from a huge Facebook buy/sell/trade group for baby carriers.  I bought it for how it looked, not how it "wrapped."  Unfortunately, as much as I loved how it looked, I didn't like how it wrapped.

I loved everything about it except that it was kind of rough to the touch, and not very soft.  Because it was more rough, it was also what they call "grippy", which would be the opposite of slippery.  It was pretty "broken in" and "floppy", but perhaps it needed to be broken in more in order to soften up.

Heartiness was the brand, and Strawberry Flowers was the name of the print.  It was originally a soft pink color.  Then a fabric dye artist called Tinge Garden, dyed it a color called "Antique Flowers", which is a warm golden, almost mustard, yellow.  So, so, so pretty.

It is a jaquard fabric, meaning two different color threads are interwoven to create the pattern.  As usual for me, I preferred the "wrong" side of the weave, which is the darker side.

I don't know what the name of the carry is that I'm using here.  I was trying to do a double hammock, then I forgot how to do it properly, and tied it off at the shoulder before completing the double hammock.  It was a pretty way to show off the fabric, but the knot was digging into my shoulder, so I wouldn't recommend it as a carry.  This is a size 5 wrap, which is a good size for me.  I use up most of the fabric in a multiple-layer carry like this, and have just enough to knot it at the end.  I found knotting this fabric a bit difficult as it was so grippy.

This fabric is a 50/50 linen/cotton blend.  Linen gets wrinkly, and can be rough to the touch (though I have felt some linen/cotton blends that are incredibly soft).  However, it is supposed to be cooler to wear in the summer.  This particular fabric was not thick, but not thin.  I found it warmer to wear than some of my 100% cotton wraps that have are a thinner weave (such as Vatanai Orkney and Ellevill Organica).  I could wear this outside in the Texas heat for a short time (45 minutes or less).

If I could one day find a wrap that looks very similar to this, but is a thinner, softer linen/cotton, I would be so happy.  Oh wait, I found it (Ellevill limited release).  Just don't need to buy one more wrap right now, at least not until I sell some others.

The below photo was taken by the lady who sold me the wrap, to show the hue.  I thought it was a cute idea, although I think my photos represent the color a bit better.
